We just received our results about an hour ago. Everything looks normal so far (yippee). There are the normal 46 chromosomes present. So, the results are no for downs, no for trisomy 16/18 and no for spinal bifida. We are 50 Cent Headphones still waiting on some specialized genetic test results. usually take a good three weeks.

For everyone out there. keep the good vibes. My downs odds were 1/31 and then 1/66 after the sonogram. Then the amino came back negative. - it's a boy. We plan to tell everyone this weekend or next. We haven't told a soul yet about this surprise pregnancy except of course for the doctors/staff and this board. It is finally real. TicTicTX congrats! I know the exciting feeling. It's like no others. I too am excited about shopping and was SO happy I shared the news with all our friends and family. have learned so much from this experience and realize how very important health is, as well as loved ones. Without them, I couldn't have come out stronger and tougher through this all.
