End of show
My Take: The opening segment really didn?t do anything for me. I really think that having the same people open up the show every week, talking about the same stuff kinda gets boring and annoying. Well, at least for me it does. There is only so much a person can take. The four way match sure did seem to have a lot of promise to be a good match, I thought.
Solid promo by Desmond Wolfe. So, his lady wants the ring but there is zero actual attempt to get the ring? What was the point of highlighting that statement then?
Personally, I feel like Bischoff needs to stop taking shots at McMahon and put on a better product.
That four way tag match could have been so much better, if it was actually given time to develop. The fact that Beer Money Inc barely got involved and yet won, is a joke to me. I?m waiting for MCMG and Generation Me to get fifteen mintues to showcase what they can do in the ring. Hernandez and Morgan are clearly breaking up with Morgan being the cocky heel.
I really thought the Morely/Jarrett segment was nicely done. However, I doubt they will follow up on Morely actually defeating Jarrett or anything involving the segment. But, who knows maybe they will.
Well, it is always good to make the X-Division champion look good. Oh wait?
I didn?t really think all those segments involving Foley needed to be aired on one show. Could have spaced them out over the next couple of weeks. The first one was good, but it got old to me rather quickly.
Ken Anderson was funny this week. However, for the second time Angle intiates the brawl and gets his ass kicked again? Anderson is being built rather strong, and the eventual match with Angle should be pretty good. I wonder if they will hold off until Lockdown for the match, though.
This whole Abyss/Hogan storyline just gets lamer by the week.
Velvet Sky is one annoying screamer. Perhaps that is why Shane Helms is no longer with her? Anyway, the story makes sense and it is going along nicely. Just another beat down on Love which isn?t anything new.
Wow, Tomko can?t beat a guy who got his shoulder ?destroyed? an hour before his match? Clearly, Tomko is not seen in high regard by Bischoff and Hogan.
The fatal four way main event really need more time to develop into anything good. Dinero losing the match is understandable considering his ankle injury. I just hope this doesn?t diminish the hype or importance for the Lockdown match. Dinero has the excuse so it shouldn?t hurt him to much.
Overall, this week wasn?t any good to me. The matches that could have been good weren?t given enough time to reach anything interesting or entertaining, really. Hopefully, TNA gives us wrestling on Monday and not nine straight non-wrestling segments in row.
